Requirements overview:

With the development of domestic import and export trade, China's coastal freight terminals have become increasingly busy, and the transportation of bulk cargo or container cargo has been increasing. In the daily loading and unloading process, port cranes, portal cranes and other lifting equipment are loaded with a large number of goods and heavy weight. Therefore, in order to ensure the safety of lifting during the operation of the crane, many port and port management workers want to install a monitoring system on the lifting equipment to monitor the daily lifting process, such as the violation of regulations during the lifting process. The situation can be found and dealt with in a timely manner, and jealous of the hidden dangers of the accident. Recently, our company received a demand from a port manager. At present, the terminal has a total of 13 large cranes and gantry cranes. It is planned to install a total of 23 high-definition network surveillance cameras on all lifting equipment. The purpose is to wirelessly monitor the driver's operation process. . However, due to terrain restrictions, lines cannot be laid on 13 lifting equipment to transmit signals. Therefore, the management found that we hope to transmit the wireless monitoring signal to the video monitoring center through a wireless video transmission method.

Design and feasibility of wireless video transmission:

We inspected 13 lifting equipments in two different areas, of which 9 were concentrated at one end and the other 4 were installed at the other end of the terminal. And the two sections are more than 500 meters away from the wireless video surveillance center. During the actual inspection, we found that the main arm of the lifting equipment is very tall and wide. If the front-end wireless device is directly installed on the cab or main boom, the optional installation of the lifting device during the installation process will move the terminal device to the other end, which will cause a blind spot between the wireless video transmission device and the monitoring center. Video transmission creates a communication barrier.

At the same time, in order to avoid the blind line of sight between the base station and the wireless video transmission terminal box due to the rotation of the boom during lifting of the hoisting equipment. We use two sets of antennas on the terminal equipment to ensure that the hoisting equipment can ensure the mutual visibility between the wireless video transmission terminal and the wireless monitoring equipment in the machine room during the work project to ensure the stable operation of the wireless video transmission.

Three access devices at the access end of the wireless monitoring base station are connected to the switch, and the signals of a total of 23 high-definition wireless monitoring cameras are transmitted to the command and monitoring center by using the internal network fiber.
